Jim Chafel 

Jim has had extensive experience in developing business plans, negotiating various agreements such as OEM software distribution agreements, license agreements, and consulting agreements.Jim is a seasoned leader who has hired, developed, and motivated highly productive managers, senior and individual contributors. Jim’s responsibilities at TotalView Technologies was to build business development function by identifying, developing, managing and maximizing worldwide business relationships through numerous alliances with resellers, OEMs, and strategic technology partners.  He was an integral part of the corporate acquisition team locating and evaluating potential targets.   Prior to joining TotalView Technologies, he was the director of business development and operations for EMC's software group, where he was responsible for developing strategic OEM initiatives.  Prior to EMC, he held various senior sales, marketing and services management positions at Digital Equipment Corporation. Mr. Chafel holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Dayton and a Master of Arts in psychology from the State University College of New York.

Xia Hua Chafel 

Xia has demonstrated skills in fundamental analysis and financial statement analysis.   Xia has prepared business plans for OEM relationships which generated significant incremental revenue.  Her business plans included research on the relevant market & industry, evaluation on company operating performance and financial status, competitive analysis, and helping to develop the negotiation strategy.  She also conducted financial analysis on pricing models, return on investment, payback period for business investment.  She has prepared the financial portions (pricing, payment terms, margins, costs, etc) of proposals for potential sales and also assisted in contract negotiations on these financial terms.   Xia has an in-depth familiarity with Chinese culture, language and business.   Ms Hua earned her bachelor’s degree from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies (formerly Guangzhou Institute of Foreign Trade) and her Masters of Business Administration from Bentley College.
